Today we have a very exciting day in the Nether- lands. We will go to Zaanse Schans with its mills,ca- nals and its typical houses. Next VOLENDAM, a verypicturesque fishing village. A short boat trip fromVolendam, will take us to MARKEN (an island thatwas joined to the mainland by a fixed dike), wherethe houses there are built on stilts. After this, we tra- vel to AMSTERDAM wherewe will enjoy a panoramicvisit of the city to see its narrow canals, its officialbuildings and parks. We will also see the techniqueof diamond cutting. A large part of the visit will be
done on foot, the information will be given throughheadphones. Time for dinner in Rembrandtplein, anarea with many restaurants from all corners of theworld and near the red-light district with its liberalvalues. Return to the hotel.

We leave Amsterdam towards Germany. We make a stop in HAMELIN, a picturesque German town, manyof its shops and streets remind us of the fairy tale of
the Pied Piper of Hamelin by the Brothers Grimm. Wecontinue towards Berlin passing through Marien- born, the old border that separated East and WestGermany until 1990. Arrival in BERLIN in the evening.

Ease your way into the local culture with a guidevisit of Germany’s incredible capital, Berlin. We shall
visit the historic center, Museum Island, the Reichs- tag, the Brandenburg Gates and the city’s magnifi- cent parks. We continue our visit by stopping at the
Holocaust Memorial and the Berlin Wall Museum.tury. Time to explore the city. Enjoy an eveningin the lively area of Kantstrasse, a district that
offers different types of ethnic restaurants todine in (Indian, Oriental, Italian, German, and soon).

We journey through forests towards DRESDEN, a city which, due to its exceptional architectu- ral and artistic heritage, has become one of the
main tourist destinations in Germany. Time to ex- plore some of the impressive palaces and to havelunch at one of its many restaurants and coffeeshops. Later, we depart for the Czech Republic.
Prague – Arrival. We will make our way to theOld Town Square. This central location providesa great introduction to Prague, full of energy andtouristic activities. You can have your dinner at
one of the restaurants offering international cui- sines, including Czech, Chinese, Indian and Ita- lian. Return to hotel.

Today we will visit the capital, Prague, the Baro- que jewel of Europe. Our local expert will providean informative city tour, which will include outs- tanding monuments. During the visit we walk
through Prague Castle (admission included). Subsequently, we shall take a boat tour on theVltava River. In the afternoon enjoy some freetime to explore the city.
